We envision and believe that promoting housing and economic development strategies and solutions for our communities provides the forums that are needed in developing the stability, self-sufficiency, and self-worth required in asset building that strengthens and heals our communities thus creating a better America.
Low to moderate income, first-time buyers, persons living with disabilities, seniors, and previous homeowners looking for a “second chance” opportunity who are located within the greater Southern California area to include Los Angeles City and County, Orange County, San Bernardino and Riverside counties expanding throughout the State and Nation.
Why Home Ownership?
Housing is a vital part of every American citizen’s life. Home ownership is essential; it reinforces family stability and unity. It aids in providing the security needed to building strong communities through responsibility, asset building and self-sufficiency. It is the base from which America’s foundation is created, minimizing many social ills that society suffers from today. Research has shown that these societal ills stem from the breakdown in the stability of the family and community.

1 Vision Street Inc has joined forces with the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network to form a collaborative partnership.
1 Vision Street will be working in conjunction with HSAN’s “Safe and Secure” Home Ownership Series …”Get your House Right”. The program mission is to significantly increase the home ownership rate of minorities and to make homeownership more accessible and sustainable to urban young adults.
HSAN founded by Russell Simmons, entertainment Icon and Dr. Benjamin Chavez, Civil rights leader. Valeisha Butterfield serves as the Executive Director. It is the largest worldwide nonprofit 501 c (4), a nonpartisan coalition of hip-hop artists and entertainment industry executives united in the belief that hip-hop is an instrumental agent for positive social change.
HSAN is a social change, program driven nonprofit Organization that creates strong, effective relationships and brand loyalty between companies and their consumers.
Their mission is to utilize the hip-hop as a catalyst for youth and community empowerment.
Their target demographics include a variation of 16-45 year olds depending on their specific program. They specialize in Tran cultural, transcontinental outreach programs that identify with the cultural demands and disparities of that target population.
